PINspiration: Backyard Living

Owning a home is like a never ending cycle of projects. I have a notes page on my phone that probably has 20-30 different projects I’d like to do at our house. Once one ends, we’re on to the next. Or we start one, get bored with it and start another. That’s our current reality! But it’s so much fun! I absolutely love making our home, “our home.” We hosted Easter this last weekend and we were so excited to share what we have done to our home.

Probably one of our favorite things EVER is hosting. It’s a little hobby both Aaron and I share and I think we’re a pretty good team. When we found our current home almost two years ago, we fell in LOVE with the backyard. We checked out the house when the previous owners were home and they were playing with their two young children in the grass, running around having a ball. I was immediately sold. I could picture birthday parties, BBQ’s, summer dinners and little toes running on that grass.

Over the past two years we have done a little bit to the backyard to make it our own, but not much. We still have a long ways to go.
